Background
The traditional approach used by companies to support the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) requirements of their customers and/or vendors, commonly referred to as Trading Partners, require the use of an EDI Translator software product, such as Trusted Link, Gentran, or Radley Caras, and a value added network (VAN). Companies that have or do implemented this traditional approach process the volume of EDI transactions required to justify the setup investment required to support their EDI requirements. 

Overview
Our Web Based EDI Services are targeted for companies that want to avoid/minimize the setup investment of this traditional approach. These services are offered jointly with SPS Commerce and include:

• Web Forms which support the use of web based forms to manually receive and send EDI transactions. This option is an inexpensive way for getting started to support EDI requirements. It is also very useful when supporting Trading Partners with low or uncertain volumes of EDI transactions.
• File Integration Services which support the ability to electronically receive and send batches of EDI transactions. This option is recommended when supporting significant volumes of EDI transactions. It is also recommended for companies requiring electronic integration with their ERP system, in addition to our TRG EDI Web Integrator product.

These services are available for virtually any EDI transaction and/or Trading Partner.

These services require a small setup expense and a monthly usage fee based on the number of EDI transactions processed.
