Background
Symix Systems, Inc. developed and enhanced the Symix enterprise management software from 1980 until 2000. When Symix Systems, Inc. introduced the version of its products that supported Microsoft's Windows operating system in 1996, it changed the name of its primary software product to SyteLine. In 2000, the company name was changed to Frontstep, Inc. to facilitate sales of its suite of web based applications to companies using other brands of enterprise management software. Frontstep was purchased by MAPICS in December, 2002. MAPICS was subsequently purchased by Infor Global Solutions in January, 2005. Since this latest purchase, Infor Global Solutions, and its network of Authorized Business Partners for SyteLine, have experienced significant turnover in their SyteLine sales, consulting, and support staffs.

 

Over 1500 companies continue to use either the Symix or the SyteLine software products to manage their businesses. Our SyteLine Products and Services are useful to companies using either product.
